Not helpful Steve. Did you draw this before the debate? I thought both men did well but as one who has always been a fan of Joe Biden, and being closer to his age, I felt he was more in command of the facts and appropriately used the word malarkey as needed. I also thought Ryan did well and does not deserve the characterization applied to him here. These artistic comments help drive the wedge party extremists on both sides continueto hammer between neighbors and is just plain sad.

Yes, I believe this – too – was drawn prior
to the debate. But it might not be about
the actual performance, but instead the relative
experience of the two. Anyway, I agree, it’s
a bit disrespectful – but then again, where is
a cartoonist to get his “funny” from if not
from disrespect? And I say this as a freshly
minted Nobel Peace Price winner :-)

“Polls” didn’t show Ryan up 48-44 percent; the CNN poll did. The CBS poll showed Biden won, 50-31. Average of the two? Biden 47, Ryan 40.
I agree Biden’s mannerisms were off-putting, but he’s an enthusiastic guy who caught Ryan in contradictions and distortions time and again.
Ryan was more polite; Biden only had energy, facts, and reason on his side.

That’s funny, when Mitt acted like that in the first debate, the righties were cheering and calling it FORCEFUL

It is Romney/Ryan that disrespect/underestimate the intelligence of the average voter.

There were at least 4 strips drawn before the last debate happened. This is the 1st one I have found this time around.

I and many agree that Biden was obnoxious, overbearing, and just plain rude. Folks, this is not how a debate is supposed to be. For a vice-president, Biden was clearly unprofessional. I say that Ryan won simply by trying to be civil, offering an olive branch to work with Democrats, and by presenting his points as clearly as was allowed when Biden was not interrupting or laughing.

The strip should show Biden drooling and in depends with that ugly smirk on his face. What a way to present yourself.

Respect for Biden, is a negative percent possible?

“Ryan was more polite; Biden only had energy, facts, and reason on his side.”
Energy – give taxpayer money to solar companies to get votes for Obama, Boxer, Reid, et al.
Reason – “The middle class has been crushed for the last 4 years”
Facts – “It was because of a movie. Really, it was. You can trust me.”

Congratulations, Morty! What will you do with your share of the prize money? If you get together with about two million of your friends, you could split a coffee ;)

The right are now complaining against what they were cheering for, last week.

“Funny how all the msm is saying Biden won, but polls showed Ryan ahead 48%-44%; Not as good as romney with 67%, but still ahead in the eyes of overall America”
Howdy, Wake up! Wake up! You are dreaming again.

Memo to Benson: Next time, wait until AFTER the debate is OVER!
