    Reminds me of a story where someone sends a camera back in time to see if they can determine why Stonehenge was built.
    The first time, all they saw was a bunch of druids bowing towards the camera.
    They kept sending it back further in time, but all they would ever see was Druids bowing towards the camera.
    Then realization struck .. as to why Stonehenge was built!
    (I think the author was Harry Harrison)

    However when they return to their present none of what was done in the past will show up. Why you ask? Because all of his changes were split offs from his world line. And as long as he makes it back to his present he won’t see the worlds that he changed. Ipso facto no anomalies or paradoxes.
