    If he goes back in time to the 122nd century, he can stop the joyrider before he goes back … but then there won’t be a violation … so he won’t have to go back… but then the joyrider will go back in time so he has to go back to stop him … and I’m getting a headache!

    You don’t understand time travel. You can’t stop what has been done, it already is part of time. But you can stop him from any more. Even so all paradoxes are new realities. No impact on his own.

    I understand paradoxes … Doc Brown and Doctor Who are a pair of docs…
    It’s interesting how we argue the nature of a technology that no-one has invented.
