I hope his body heat doesn’t melt the ice under him, and have it refreeze!

Jack is alive and well…and Jacques doesn’t make more sense.

I’m glad Kamik was able to escape from the car, and get onto the ice.

Jack and Jacques are two cats I bring into this strip to satirize the country once in a while, like was the case during the so-called Pastagate, last winter.

    Part two of Slushie XL…

Meet the KC Irving regional center, on St. Anne street, in Bathurst. Home of the Acadie-Bathurst Titans. Was all the rage when I was in high school, but has a hard time filling the bleachers for the last few seasons.

The league the team belongs to is based in Quebec but has almost half of his teams outside of it and players in it come from all around the country and even eastern Europe. The arena is named after a wealthy english canadian oil man. It’s a bilingual town and the team’s name is pronounced exactly the same in both french and english and yet some hot heads of both linguistic communities accuse each other of taking over it (yes, you have permission to bang your head against the wall at this point).

(PS, don’t tell Jack and Jacques I spelled “centre” the exact same way in both languages, which means I certainly messed up one!)

Okay, the social media are a glamorized way to waste time but I posted this on the Facebook page of Bathurst’s biggest radio station, Max 104.9 and it got shared, yay!

Centre is the correct way to spell it in both languages. It’s only that pesky Mr Webster that disagrees.

Actually, Godin is popular even with the english here because of his left-wing views.

Didn’t read a word of your post but I already know I don’t agree with anyone involved. you picked the wrong person to argue with. Jacques lives three doors down, go argue with the cat.
