    My most horrific nightmare was right after the gulf war started – Sadam’s men were kidnapping me and I said “Wait – I have to get my cats”. They told me they would be killed if I brought them, so I had to make the decision to either abandon them or bring them to their death. I actually choked up for several days afterwards each time I tried to tell this story, it seemed so real – took forever to shake it!

    I’m sorry you had such an awful dream. That IS a horrible nightmare. What a terrible decision to have to make – even in a dream. It just goes to show how much you love your kitties though. Sometimes dreams can feel so real and they can be deeply upsetting.
