    Usually, I tell lost people to follow their nose, but I guess there’s not much to smell underground ecept dirt…

    Snow is probably sitting on the main hole that he’s looking to get out of

    Mixed Medications, Snow is glad to be of help.

    Thanks, Rene! :)

    Hi, Andrew! Gopher.

    Hi, Dry! Thanks! :)

    FrenchetteHerself, Snow sez . . . “if you can’t use your nose then use your head.” In the gopher’s case, that means a hat with a light on it.

    Nate, LOL!

    Hi, Tham Packs! Yes, what would the world do without Snow’s guidance? Or more importantly, what would this gopher do without Snow’s guidance (literally speaking in this case)?

    T we have a house guest. Last evening, the oddest thing happened. I found a little kitten under one of our trees, And I mean a kitten, has it’s fur, but it’s eyes aren’t opened yet. We are bottle feeding it We sure hope it makes it. My youngest is really taking good care of it. It seems healthy, its so small. poor little thing. My vet got back to me right away last night, and last night was Sunday. Told us what to do.

    Hi, Dry! Wow! What are the odds of that happening? The saying, “Big gifts come in small packages” comes to mind. Of course, Snow believes ALL kittens are a blessing. (And as you know, Snow has been very blessed.)

    The REAL Snow appeared in my backyard under a tree also. He was a very special blessing.

    If it makes you feel any better, many years ago a baby sparrow that had fallen out of a tree was brought to me to save. He had no feathers. He didn’t look like he was going to make it. I didn’t know anything about birds, but I did my best to learn and take care of him. Now many years later, he is a strong, happy, loving, intelligent, little bird. And he survived and thrived in spite living in a house with cats! So, great things are possible!

    So, I hope that this precious little angel not only survives, but thrives! This little kitten will be in my thoughts and I hope everything works out for the best! Keep me updated! All my animals have been rescues also, so I know how it is.

    Gopher! They all look the same to me. I only really know the prairie dogs from my wife’s town on the Llano Estacado. I don’t think we have an equivalent over here – the nearest we get is badgers.

    Sooky Rottweiler says;
    Hey, Snow, yesterday you said that if I wanted to adopt a pup, you’d send Winky here, but what if he comments here like I do?

    Sooky Rottweiler says;
    And light or no light, there is still not much to see underground! Okay in a tunnel that’s already been dug…

    Hi, Andrew! I have a lot of gophers in the area that I live. For some reason, they dig a lot of holes – particularly on golf courses (from what I’ve seen from the movie Caddyshack). No prairie dogs or badgers around . . . but that’s not to say that they won’t appear in a “Snow Sez . . .” strip. Animals of all walks of life travel far and wide to see Snow.

    Sooky Rottweiler:

    Snow sez . . . he doubts that Winky ever reads the comments. He’s too busy doing important dog things like chasing his tail.

    Winky says, “Everything that Snow sez is true.” (And Snow sez . . . that he wants to make it clear that he didn’t type this pretending to be Winky).

    Snow sez . . . that if a gopher can’t see underground with a light, then the gopher may need a guide dog. Does Sooky need a job?
