I always suspected that gulls deliberately shouted down chimneys as loudly as possible, and they would always follow up with a tap dance on our metal chimney covers. Good for Jones giving him a shock.

English gulls are not as eriudite as the Great Lakes gulls we have here in Wisconsin? Just this morning, I heard a group of them gather, and sing Bach’s Ode To Joy in perfect 4 part harmony. Of course, that sort of thing only happens at this time of year, usually it’s Broadway show tunes. What is really vexing is when the penguins migrate in for the winter, and stand on the street corners, singing do-wop songs

Wisconsin gulls like to nest near parking lots and structures and attack people as they’re going from and to their cars.

Hastings gulls mug tourists for their fish and chips. And they’re more into rap than Bach.
