Ok, so sleeping princess never woke up, or if she did, she never got past Lord Cunningham at the front door of the Star Chamber in the Little House that (Jack) Collodi built. Assuming that we haven’t seen her before (as in that Nick’s drone wasn’t something Virginia’s department simply found and repurposed) who and where is Collodi’s last daughter?

Next up: The Hunt for Collodi’s daughter!

Okay, so Collodi’s daughter isn’t the fruit of his loins but the fruit of his mind. Given Collodi’s work with robotics, his daughter would be some kind of advanced robot, like Gussie, only more so. Can anybody think of a major or minor character who could fit this description and who doesn’t have a known creator? The only windup robots I’m aware of were created by the blaxploitation mad scientist.

..the only thing that makes sense is that Collodi’s daughter is Nick….

If Nick’s android body is Collodi’s creation, where is the original personality he would have put in? I think the real princess is sleeping with a fusion device for a pillow. And if she isn’t awakened by true love’s first kiss, we can kiss most of the Midwest goodby.

I think DoctorWho55 is referring to the “Age of Steel” ep, where a human scientist (cannot remember his name right now) creates the Cybermen in Pete’s World.

Also, Carlo Collodi was the author of “Pinocchio” (the non-Disney version).
An automaton trying to become a real boy?
