Somewhere in this great nation is a top-secret government agency in charge of providing aid to America's nonhuman citizenry. Perpetually overworked and underpaid, these dedicated civil servants soldier on with a dedication exceeded only by their respective passions for heavy rifles, stylish footwear, and good sturdy squeaky toys. They're not our country's best nor our country's brightest, but to all the lost and lonely creations of misguided science wandering the wild places of this country, they are a beacon of minimum-wage hope. This is their story.

If the Zombies just eat the politically obsessed, the world will be a better place
Does anyone else wish these Under-the-Bridge-Dwellers would get a life, or at least ake it to the Editorial Cartoons and leave the politics out of the regular comics?

To be fair to teenagers, people my age, voting on their out of control emotions and predjudices don’t seem to be doing any better.

re: doctor toon. It’s the difference between the Socialists (the 2012 Democrat platform included 9 of 10 Planks of the Communist Manifesto) and those who oppose Socialism. Expect some lively debate between those who want to preserve freedoms (almost every Party other than Democrat) and those who want the governments to tell them what to do (Democrat).
.
2012 was deja vu. The Czechs and Slovaks voted in the Soviets in 1947 and spent 42 years in slavery. Also like 2012, there was massive voter fraud that made it impossible to know who actually won the election. Also like 2012, it was simply assumed the Soviets won.
.
As humans, we really do ignore history. Seems like every generation or two, we make the same mistakes. Oregon’s experiment with pot legalization from 1973-1997 was an absolutely disaster. From highway deaths to kids being born with screwed up nervous systems and pretty much every girl I grew up with ending up in the gutter. But, we are soooo much smarter today, and so we have to legalize it again. More blood money. The highway about 2 miles from my home is a drug highway for southwestern Canada. When Canada legalized pot, there was a tenfold increase in addicts. The first things to go with pot are personal initiative and morals, and so the Canadians just “import” from Mexico like most American users do. And so, between the U.S., Canada, and EU imports from Mexico, the cartels down there kill an estimated 100,000 people per year. (Remember, the official mexican numbers only count those people they actually find/know about, and when city after city has 1000, 2000, 3000, etc. that is not the total number, not by a long shot.)
.
The same with Socialism. The U.S fought WWII in Europe against the National Socialist Axis (6.66 Planks in Germany, Finland, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Italy), and now many of the same people who fought them are voting for the Democrats who believe the same things and espouse the same things, from Eugenics to nationalization of industries and banks. Instead of Jews, it’s Christians, Jews, and conservatives being scapegoated.

Zombies and teens uniting in common purpose…no worse…than we already had the cold dead hands of the Bushes and their henchies…
