    Mercy, must we enroll our wee sisters in self defense classes? Chivalry is DEAD.

    HEAVEN FORBID something should happen to interfere with having a winning Football season, since EVERYONE Knows that FOOTBALL is SO MUCH MORE important that anything else that goes on at most Colleges today!
    After all, look at how much the colleges PAY their players!
    Breeze-through courses to be sure the G.P.A. stays high enough, “Special Lease rates” on luxury and sports cars from dealers that are members of the alumni associations, and lots more perks!

    Bobby Bowden is no longer head coach, but Jimbo Fisher carries out his legacy. Mr. Bowden’s favorite phrase was “It wasn’t a felony.” This is because NCAA does not require that the team sanction a player unless a felony is committed. Of course, all felonies charged were reduced to misdemeanors as soon as it was found that the perpetrator was a football player.

    There is a riddle circulating throughout the ACC:

    Q: A Florida State football player, a University of Miami football player, and a Virginia Tech football player are all riding in a car. Who’s driving?

    A: The State Trooper.

    If it wasn’t so serious, it would be funny.

    it isn’t just college. they don’t really prosecute sexual assault even in high school, unless a public backlash(see ohio). plus, the school even covers up the assault if it is a coach(see penn state)

    If people stopped paying attention to college football their untouchable gods status would vanish.
    .
    The NFL is bad enough. College football seems to have conciderablely more problems.

    @Molon Labe

    Wow. Gotta get your irrelevant comment in, huh?
    .
    Since most of this sort of thing happens off-campus, it’s not only irrelevant, it’s stupid.
    .
    Wow, what a surprise.

    Time to get rid of such sports and concentrate on academics only.
