Out of the top to giver state (state that give money to the US than receive) 8 out of 10 are Blue states, the bottom ten taker state are ALL Red states. I wonder who need more help Blues states or Red states.

Republicans are rebranding their message: Trickle down is now being replaced by “Alms for the poor”.

The US has far more people than jobs, so it needs a strict ‘No work, no food’ policy. In about two months, the population will be reduced by at least 25% (probably more like 40%) and unemployment will be largely eliminated.

With luck, this policy will finally solve the most difficult and pernicious problem facing the US: I mean, of course, the servant problem. The gentry should have no trouble finding legal domestic staff willing to work, and work hard, for a board in the basement and scraps from the table, and the US will once again be a paradise for all the good and the great.

Job growth vs Food stamp growth under Obama. You decide which path is being watered.
Where are those magic green jobs Obama promised? How is that Obamacare when the best job that can be found is two part time jobs?

How about the fact that the GOP has obstructed every jobs bill that has come from the Democrats?
How come all of these green jobs have been bought out by the oil industry?

Try to start a business, and you’ll find you can’t sell any product to people who have no money. It’s not only cruel, it’s economically damaging to tax rich people at such a drastically lower rate than the working poor. And cutting food stamps during a crisis? Unbelievably cruel.

As someone who is among the “working poor”?
    []
Before Obamacare, I had an effective 0% tax rate. I was classified as an independent contractor at work, and so it was on me to do my taxes. Given that the amount I made was so low, once all of my deductions were factored in I fell below the threshold and so usually did not need to pay in.
    []
After Obamacare? I’m now facing an effective 7% tax rate. I was forcibly re-classed due to the legislation, and so I now get hit with withholding. This means I’m having to do with less money each month, further complicating my financial situation.

Good question where are they? Obama had the house and senate for the first two years.
