Heck, she would probably be a far better weapon against the likes of Assad, than any number of our soldiers would be (as good as they are). To say nothing of being a whole lot less expensive, thus saving the taxpayers a lot of money (and I know you would like that aspect)! Other than that, I do truly hope that the current administration has the intelligence to stay our of Syria, and even get the rest of our people out of Afghanistan!!

Why do people follow stupid crazy celebrities acting stupid??
Maybe if we ignore them they will go away.
GOP will blame Obama no matter what he does. It’s all they do!

The problem with deploying Miley Cyrus is that if we did turn her loose in Syria, how could we claim to be morally superior to a maniac who uses poison gas on his own people?

Hey, some people stare at a train wreck rather than turn away. It doesn’t mean you like it, but there is that sick yet fascinating “train wreck” aspect to it.
She was indeed a train wreck; viewing her performance doesn’t necessarily equal enjoyment.

Gosh, I missed it, too. But my Tea Party friend urged me to see it because it was “so disgusting.”

I saw fogged out clips until the unedited one was played on Chelsea Lately.

I don’t have a problem with what Miley did but, you need something to twerk if you’re going to twerk.

It’s too bad the Geneva convention limits the US to cruise missiles. I think Ms Miley would be more effective, and not just at getting rid of al-Assad, but all the jihadists as well. But I’m afraid it would be a violation of international law to use her, so Obama will have to stick to bombing Syria with a bunch of cruise missiles.

    “junk she pulled”
I am starting to get curious, this was on broadcast TV?

So glad you asked. Kiddie porn is not new, especially to Disney. Look at all the Boy Bands they put together. The Jonas Brothers were sexy hunks to a whole bunch of 13-year-olds at one time. But they wore purity rings, so they were sexy but off-limits at the same time. Sort of like the female dichotomy: do males want madonnas or whores? Depends on the circumstances…..

Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, and now Miley. Another in a long string of fresh-faced sexpots. Keep in mind that our society likes scandal. Why else would anyone know the name Kardashian? Do any of them have any talent for anything except publicity? But we want to know the names of all the sisters and all the boy-toys and on and on.

If you have talent, you can usually get by without resorting to being a sex-tease. If not, doing so will ensure that people talk about you. And that’s the ultimate goal, it appears.

Interestingly, there was a point here about Mr Thicke being given a pass. No surprise here: remember the Super Bowl with Janet Jackson’s “wardrobe malfunction”? Justin Timberlake was well complicit, but no negative press for him. We live in a very paternalistic society: what’s good for guys isn’t lady-like. Boys will be boys.

If you look on youtube you can see at least part of what was on TV. But most have ads and people interpreting the performance.

I know all that, I am talking about the whole Teddy Bear C$@P. This seemed to be directed to six year olds. Or Teens who act like six year olds.
