Trying out for the Dem Mascot as Boogyman?

“Republicans have defined their position, regardless of how reckless: austerity or bust. However, as economists have warned, austerity generally precedes — and, in fact, can cause — bust. Just look at Europe.
But Republicans are so dizzy over the deficits and delighted to lick the boots of billionaires that they cannot — or will not — see it. They are still trying to sell cut-to-grow snake oil: cut spending and cut taxes, and the economy will grow because rich people will be happy, and when rich people are happy they hire poor people, and then everyone’s happy."

Most of us are similar to yourself and we read most all of the new toons…
.
So when you spam multiple toons with the same cut and paste it is annoying and actually detracts from what you are trying to communicate.

The CBO says the Sequester will result in 750,000 fewer jobs being created in 2013. The CBO is a little better with numbers than Maxine Waters.

I think that this was probably more of a general statement about prophet doomsayers, than any kind of a particular political statement!

Are you implying that money keeps a person alive? Tell that to Chavez.
skipcarlsen said, 3 months ago
The doomsayers must be soooo disappointed! After all that miscreant Obama’s dire predictions about the perils of sequestration; it came and went with a whimper and now even he is forced to admit his hyperbole was over the top!

Obama signed off on his idea of sequester last night (March 1, 2013)

Where was your criticism of the Democrats from January 2007 to December 31, 2010?
During this time frame, the Democrats failed to pass one single budget as required. The chose to ‘kick the can’ down the road. The kept increasing the debt ceiling.
Odd how you did not blame Democrats for their inaction for four years.

Obama signed off on his idea of the sequester.Sequester was suggested by two of his staffers, Obama took it as his idea thinking the Republicans would not go along because it cut Military Spending. Obama gambled and lost.

I wonder if George Takei could solve this dilemma like he did the President’s Star Wars/ Star Trek gaffe.
Michyle Glen said, 3 months ago
The Sequester is the product of both parties.
Both to thought the other would blink, now they have to face the one thing that terrifies a politician…
REALITY!!!!

Isn’t that the 47% Romney was talking about? Well, as long as the 53% are there to block ANY “handouts” things will be well, right?
