   If the Democrat Senate can’t pass a budget in over 4 years, why bother paying them to show up.

   That’s a little harsh. But politicians aren’t all that vital to the running of the country because it’s the bureaucrats, the paper shufflers who actually carry out the laws of the land with red tape to slow things down.

    Please define tyranny.
    How many dissidents have been hanged or otherwise executed in your neighborhood?
    How many times have armed troops been dispatched to break up gatherings?
    How many times have the police beaten you for your opinions?
    How many times have armed troops been to your door to steal your possessions?
    How many armed soldiers do you pass on your way to the store?
    How many police and military checkpoints do you pass through on your way to work? (assuming you don’t work on a military base)
    How many institutions in your town have been bombed or destroyed because they were not approved by the government?
    If your answer is zero to all of the questions above, congratulations – you do not have a tyrannical government.
