In Spanish, Obama’s campaign told the Hispanics he was not deporting anyone who hadn’t committed a crime. Of course, not having proper papers (or just looking Hispanic without any papers), IS a crime, so Obama’s first term deported more Hispanics than any other president.

Of course, those figures are not completely descriptive: Clinton had many more Hispanics ‘removed’ without technically deporting them, and Bush, Jr had a lot of Hispanics imprisoned for long terms in private prisons to generate big profits for Friends of the Administration, rather than deporting them, so part of Obama’s high deportation rate was freeing (and deporting) those incarcerated by Bush, Jr. who had not committed any crimes, and part was insisting on calling them ‘deportations’ rather than ‘removals’.

And just 5 years later, the GOP is openly threatening to deliberately crash the world economy. These people are the biggest threat to America – and the world. Once upon a time, they would have been considered criminals. Today, many Americans, unfortunately, admire such thievery from the average American.

Emigration is the answer. Send the republicans to Somalia.
Ah, Somalia, that republican Nirvana with no government, no taxes, no health care, no food stamps and you get to shoot pirates and looters rather than little kids and moviegoers.

The USA needs a strong viable Socialist party to the left of the Democratic party. The rethuglicon party should be declared illegal and unconstitutional. As for immigration, Columbus was an illegal immigrant. So were the people who landed at Plymouth Rock. The natives should have kicked everybody out.

Arm everyone, deport 12 million people, disregard the revenue side yet reduce the debt? Right is wrong.

Pretty soon all those different cans they are kicking down the road are going to merge into one large blob that won’t move when they try to kick it.

You exaggerate. No seizing of guns. Taxes have been the lowest in 50 years—-especially for the top 20%.

Just remember that Pres. Obama had a million or more deported better than any previous Republican.

What we need is a strong Democratic-Socialist party.

Ashburn’s remarks are couched in inflammatory rhetoric, which is unfortunate. They are also the truth, which is also unfortunate.

While Ashburn should also not have used such terminology (and it should be an actual moderate liberal trait to be civil, even to those that violently disagree with us), at least the rest of his post was somewhat civil, and even at least partially true.

While rightisright’s post was just a typical ultra conservative rant. And quite frankly, I grow tired of such rants. You usually do not do this yourself, and I personally thank you for that, even though you certainly disagree with me at times.

Heck, even Ima has gotten more reasonable lately!

And in some areas I would probably qualify as an ultra conservative myself. Such an area as crime in which people break the law deliberately to endanger others. However, I am against the death penalty, as I can not believe that the sentence of life in prison with no possibility of ever being paroled would make a quick death seem to be a relative heaven. And while I make no apologies for being thus so vindictive, it does then allow God (whom I believe in) to be the originator of true vengeance as in “Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord”!!!

So, my particular political slant depends on individual issues, and neither political Parties nor the presses opinions!

    Have A Great Day!

    @Ms. Ima

I do not necessarily completely disagree with you here, even though deficits have actually gone up under Republican Presidents more than they have under Democrat Presidents, with the notable exception of the relatively moderate (and therefore better) President Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Now, at the same time, would it even be possible for you to be able to type out the full word “Democrats” instead of being so lazy (or perhaps derogatory) as to only be able to manage “Dems”. It is no more a political sin to be a Democrat than it is to be a Republican. I will not call Republicans: Reps. or even the more derogatory Repubs, if you change your posts for Democrats accordingly.

However, I must admit that you have been far more reasonable in recent posts. Please keep it up!
