    Worshipped in the temples on K Street, actually. What do you call a reformed politician? A corpse.

    So here’s the big question: How do you get politicians who actually care about the people they govern? Seems nobody likes politicians at all, but somebody’s got to run the country.

    Obama doesn’t need superpacs. The people love him and are giving him gifts from their own weddings and birthdays because we still believe in hope and change! Forward!

    @cdward

    Are there people that truly care about people AND become politicians? Hmmm.

    Is it he doesn’t need them or they don’t give to him or that he has trouble getting as much? He thinks he needs them or he wouldn’t take them. I also can’t believe that when you guys believe you need financial assistance he is asking you to give it up in order to help his campaign. If things are truly better, people would be giving without requests like that. Also, maybe if all you go forward enough, you might catch up to the real world. We believe in hope and change also, we hope you guys will change your ideologies, things don’t have to be “just spend what you don’t have and it gets better”.

    Oh no they have money for advertisement. Of course Obama has 90% of the media rooting for him and the celebrity Hollywood empty head spokespeople are just lining up for the guy. No super pacs needed.
    How dare Mitt raise more money them Obama for advertisement. Does he not know Obama raised a record amount of money n order to win last cycle? And Obama’s message of empty words such as “forward” need to be repeated and chanted as much as the empty “hope and change” from the last cycle. And Obama needs money to get his empty non message out. I mean it is not like he can run on his record or anything. He did not last time so why start now?

    Not loving him that much. He showed his Republican side and some people dropped him for it. No way to get someone out side of the two official parties to have a chance to win. Even so Republican Willard Romney has over $100 million right now, more than Obama.

    WHY we must get rid of Citizens united! Both sides take money! Both sides are hurt by it. ALL the voters votes are made null and void compared to what the big money buys with it’s political money.

    Funny, I remember Obama rejecting Federal Campaign Financing as soon as he saw his contributions would out-raise McCain— his first broken campaign promise. Liberals not only gave him a pass but applauded him for it. I also remember Obama saying he wouldn’t take money from Super-pacs, and then flip-flopping on it. Liberals continued to give him a pass.

    Face it, libs. Obama isn’t an empty slate like he was 4 years ago. He has a (failed) record to run on. He’s spending more than he’s taking in, and the campaign isn’t even in full swing yet. That’s why he’s asking for Wedding Party silverware. You can’t fool the voters twice.

    (Edit: I take that last sentence back… there are True Believers, well represented here, that you can fool over and over again. But they won’t be enough.)
