Savage Chickens began on a rainy day in October 2004 when, after one too many migraines, Doug Savage scribbled two chickens on a sticky note. Almost eight years and 2000 cartoons later, Savage Chickens is now a popular website with millions of readers. Savage still draws every cartoon on yellow sticky notes, and his cartoons cover an eclectic range of topics, including: work, psychology, arachnophobia, pop culture, cats, time travel, love, zombies, and more.

For some things, like gangrene, reattached body parts, leeches can actually help get the circulation going to those affected areas better.

You can get Leeches for free, just by jumping into filthy swamps….

If leeches had smiley little faces like the one on the box, I wouldn’t mind.

Leeches eat only dead or decaying flesh, so they actually are useful. Many hospitals use them to debride wounds.

I’ve also heard of using sterile maggots to eat away gangrenous flesh leaving the healthy stuff behind and making an amputation unnecessary.
