Woke with a strange heaviness upon me, and a localized pressure on my left shoulder.

It was the kitty having hopped up and had a paw on my shoulder.

I’ll have to spring that one on the doctor.

Time for Rose to update that old clunker to a newer model.

Concur! And I kept an old CRT monitor for 13 years before upgrading to a flat panel.

I wish they still sold CRT monitors. The LCD backlights of flatscreen monitors bother my eyes more than CRT’s at 85Hz ever did.

@ewalnut Go get your eyes checked, that sounds like a symptom of light sensitivity.

It’s not wonder the computer is crashing… that thing must be 10 years old and doesn’t have the power, memory or OS necessary to run anything.

Check out the Kidney Foundation Thrift Store, the Habitat For Humanity Restore, and, not too far from us, there is a Goodwill Computer store where you can get 10 DVD’s for $10.

The problem with the new Flatscreens is there’s nowhere for the Kitty to curl up!

You beat me to it. CRT’s don’t have back lighting.

When I had a terrible loss a few years back, I was sitting at the kitchen table crying my heart out when I felt these gentle paws on my knee. It was my old cat. She seemed to sense my sadness and was trying to comfort me.
