A cat’s got to do what cats do! Just as long as Rose doesn’t go all ‘Vicki’ on Peekaboo, like she does with other critters in this strip. Still, it’d be an experience that kitten won’t forget.

Peekabooo, what you did was not playful destruction but creative redecoration.

Time to ban that cat from the house. Or break out Vicki to get the message through to the cat.

Tine to confine that cat to a portable kennel, like now!

For all the Mayhem our cats create in their daily play, there is very little actual destruction

Boots did shred a roll of paper towels last week, but he swears the paper towels started it

Bad cat Peekaboo! I’m glad my cats aren’t as destructive. They mostly shred the chair in the living room and leave fur everywhere, and now and then a delightful hairball or they blurp up their cat food.

    A cat’s gotta do what a cat’s gotta do!
    And Peekaboo did!
    .
If Rose could have caught Peekaboo in the middle of it, she could have tossed her out into the back yard to continue her mischevious meyham.
    .
For a dog or cat to learn that certain behavior is not permitted, the animal must be caught in the act and then chastised immediately.

Teresa…that doesn’t work too well for cats. One of mine tries to pick the couch and I always tell her no and she’ll stop it. But, she’ll be back trying it again and again. She knows if I catch her I’ll yell at her but she still keeps trying. She hasn’t done any damage…yet.

    It’s curtains for Peekaboo …again!
Spare the ‘rod’ and spoil the kitten.

    LOL!

I had a kitty who would start unrolling the toilet paper. She usually only did it when I was trying to sleep in.

I can’t believe no one mentioned Rose’s six arms.

Rose needs to be well-armed to protect herself from Peekaboo.

I’ve had a lot of cats, and none of them were destructive, even the kittens. My live-in and I had a cat that had five kittens in our bedroom closet, and every night they came out to play for hours. They climbed on the bed, ran across it, attacked our toes, and played on the floor batting marbles around, but never did they tear up anything. Just lucky, I guess.
