    @Zero-Gabriel

    True, but a professional cat will still find a way to snag clothing. Mine does (and I love her anyways).

    How about specialized “Anti-Snag” Cat Mittens…?

    De-clawing works just fine. All 4 feet, for 3 cats over a span of almost 40 years (17/16/4). Just keep them inside.
    .
    Never have to worry about getting scratched, cat getting snagged, or poking holes in the water bed.

    What’s going on with his nose? Looks like he’s been at the bottle for quite some time.

    Snagging occurs when I am dressed up and kitty wants additional affection…..which I gladly and happily give.

    declawing a cat is not only extremely painful for the cat it is looked upon as cruelty. If you don’t like the entire package that is a cat please get a different pet instead of maiming one for the sake of your furniture.

    @Rikkie Tavi What is more cruel? Loving and taking care of a little cat by not letting it outside and taking steps that your life and the cats life are little harmonius, or getting angry with the cat becuase cats do what cats do and allowing it out of the house only for it to be killed because it accidentally got into a yard with a dog and the dog got a hold of it or it was run over by a car that was driven by a manic who purposfully trys to run over any animal that is out of a yard? Personally, I would rather put up with a little bit of pain of declawing and keep the little critter safe in the house. At least with dogs you can keep them in a fenced in yard and if you are persistent enough, they will stay in their yard.

    A little pain!! it is the same as having your fingers amputiated at the joint below your fingernail. You consider that a little pain. They make claw covers to stop this problem. My cats are housecats that still have un amputated claws. You should not have animals for pets.people like you are who pet rocks were invented for.
