Or, since “the pen is mightier than the gun”, what if we limited the 1st amendment like Feinstein & company would limit the 2nd amendment.
Regulate the press. We don’t want wrong ideas spread to the wrong people.
Limit the size of the magazines.

No automatics. Better go back to semi-automatic USPS rather than internet for automatic firing of ideas. Let’s regulate the internet.

Yes, because I absolutely need that fully automatic military grade high capacity assault rifle. It’s for duck hunting, dontchaknow.

what exactly are you talking about? fully automatic weapons are illegal already (unless you are one of a very select few who go through the rigors and examination to get a license for one).

Libel and slander are already crimes. So is inciting a riot.

Ok, so I should have said “regulate the press to the same degree”. Libel, etc. are already crimes, just like shooting people is already a crime.
Extreme control over arms like Feinstein wants or Britain has would be equivalent to extreme control over truthful – currently lawful – speech.

Never use logic with liberals and democrats. They will say you are racist and elitist.

    Yes, Mr. Mechanic.
Others’ respect for the 1st amendment should equal their respect for the 2nd.
Your respect for the 2nd amendment should equal your respect for the 1st.

we should outlaw forks too because they make people fat, and cars because they are responsible for drunk drivers, oh and don’t forget knives that nut that stabbed all those people at that college couldn’t have done it if knives were outlawed

Outlaws already get tax breaks – you think they pay their fair share of taxes on those cocaine profits or bank robberies?

Good stewardship and respect for the environment is what keeps individuals from polluting – not litter laws. There is obviously restrictions on Industrial pollution as there are already restrictions on gun purchasing and ownership anyway. Of course, those with no respect for such restrictions will pollute or purchase/own guns by illegal means regardless.

Big tobacco is not to blame for your lung cancer, it is your smoking habit. Take some personal responsibility for your own health.

Per the Wikipedia entry for the city, "Pittsburgh is one of the few American cities to be spelled with an h at the end of a burg suffix.77 While named “Pittsburg” from 1890 to 1911 following a declaration by the United States Board on Geographic Names, the “Pittsburgh” spelling was officially restored after a public campaign by the citizens of the city.76"
