Can’t call it global warming anymore. Too many facts get in the way. Lets call the seasons “Climate Change”

They changed the lingo around because as the average global temperature increases, you will get changing weather patterns that cause more extreme weather phenomena.
Science corrects itself to adjust to new info.

    Glad someone here gets it.
There’s more energy in the atmosphere = more variation in weather patterns.
The big snowstorms this year, incidentally, are ALSO a byproduct of global warming. Less snow total, but warmer air carries more moisture, so when it falls, there’s more of it.

When the temperature gets up to 63 or 64 degrees, you guys in the Northeast, down to NC are going to have 17 year cicadas all over the place.

    C’mon! that hasn’t happened in 17 years!

In addition warmer temps induce more melting + the associated evaporation. So you are correct, there is more potential energy, weather-wise.

The argument isnt wether or not global warming exists it is Did Man cause it?
History shows periods of heating and cooling cycles over and over again. Just another scare tactic to seperate you from your money for tax purposes.

History shows these periods brought on by extended periods of increased volcanic activity, or extraterrestrial events (large meteorite strikes). The current warming trend is seeing similar CO2 levels without either of these factors. Man is the current cause. The problem is compounded by our unwillingness to adapt to the situation by reducing fossil fuel usage on a large scale, simply because the people making the money from fossil fuels tell us we can’t and that the current warming trend is part of the natural cycle.

The word in Germany currently is “Brrrrrr!” as well. Everybody is yearning for the spring to come. Today at least was a sunny day, but the sun was very weak, it couldn’t warm you up. I don’t understand this. I’m over 45 and can’t remember the sun being so weak this time of year. If this cold stays beyond May first I’m going to quit my job and move to the equator to live out the last days before Armageddon being warm

Seems that each and every lunk head fond of denying scientific data has minimally developed thought processes…
Speaking of thought, many thanks for your mind challenging post!

I remember being at an Oriole night game in early April. It was so cold I was wearing long johns and a fleece coat and was still cold. A relief pitcher came into the game and when the crowd saw he was wearing short sleeves you could actually hear the gasp.

Ditto here in Boston. Refer to Viking myths of Ragnarok instead of Revelations…
