On occasion I worked with some of the most cold blooded women I’d ever met in my stint in corporate America. I would bet the farm that they would be merciless killers in combat.

All the recent revelations on women in the military are true to the cartoon.
.
At least when it is the enemy doing it they can legally shoot back.

Try an experiment, mickey. Try reversing the gender on that statement and see if you would see it.
If you think the #1 requirement for a US soldier is to be a “merciless killer,” you don’t know the military.

Rogers is apparently the typical anti-military liberal.
Women “offered” to fight on the frontlines? PC insanity again weakening our military. Save the last bullet for yourselves, ladies. It will be more merciful than what happens when muhammad captures you…

Cross-post! Cross-post! Cross-post! Ran out of original ideas, hmm?

There will always be rape. It’s build into the male. Sorry.

All of you liberal/progressives can thank our service men and women for your right to post your bilge. The clown that drew this “cartoon” obviously didn’t have the guts to serve our country or he would have known that 99.999% of our troops serve with pride and honor. The .0001% that do harass (by the way that harassment comes from both sides) get sent packing real fast.

Danzinger has the right idea…

Having supervised mixed gender wildland fire crews over the years…it is going to be more of a challenge than expected. The tensions that are caused by young male/female relationships are over the top, especially when you are stuck together for 24/7, weeks or months at a time.

bingo, R.Rogers. now “your mother wears combat boots” has come true. Cannnon fodder? meet rape fodder.

@Zipi
The (large) number of military women who have come forward with stories of being raped- and then being told to just “suck it up and drive on”- contradicts your statement. Are you going to tell me those women are lying?

why is she saluting another enlisted man
lookinside said, 4 months ago
@furnituremaker
Probably a seasoned Major, who knows how to keep her head down in combat(no insignia).

“Try an experiment, mickey. Try reversing the gender on that statement and see if you would see it.”
Jeez, you guys are really picky today. Okay, back to the list.
1. I wasn’t making a broad comparison. I knew lots of men who were not exactly bastions of compassion and love.
2. I am aware most soldiers are not “merciless killers.”
3. it was not my intention to get that specific, and I am fully aware of what many women have to endure in the process in general.
4. I was being slightly facetious, you know a feeble attempt at humor? This is the comic page I believe and the posters are (typically, usually, sometimes) intelligent people that interpret the remarks broadly and can discern “humor.”

WOW, I actually have to take the same ultra right position as rightisright!
So now we get to subject our potential wives and even mothers to the horrors of actual combat? Is it not bad enough that we already do this to our young men?
I would guess that women must know that they have truly made it, when they too can experience PTSD!!
What next, our children?
