    “hairy” ?

I predict that our President will “chicken out” and give the tea-baggers something – a 90 day deferral of ACA enactment….my guess…
And the can, if still in one piece, will be kicked another 90 days…And the people will be 90 days more angry with Congress.

And many of us will be angry with the president for giving up on his promises to the middle-class and majority of Americans.

Why can’t more cartoonists be intelligent enough to understand both sides in DC are out for themselves and will always put the people second to their own wants and needs? Keep up the good fight Mr. Ariail.

The president gave up on pretty much all of his campaign promises along time ago and the only one he is keeping right now is to FUNDAMENTALLY TRANSFORM AMERICA from something we can live and work with to a CESS POOL of people sucking on his sick twisted teet

Boehner panicked and caved and agreed to pass a clean debt ceiling bill, just like last time in ‘11.

But what Fox calls the ’slimdown’ will continue, with certain bits and bobs funded.

That should be Obama in one car and the Senate Socialists in the other. The Republicans in the House have been doing their part offering several proposals, all of them rejected by Obama and the Senate. Obama and the Socialist Party are little children who never grew up and are throwing a tantrum now that the adults in the room told them no more toys.

The House does not get to fund the parts of the government it likes. It’s job is to fund the government and that means all of the government that is backed by LAW.

I don’t think that’s right. Besides just because it’s a LAW doesn’t mean it’s beneficial, correct or good. Remember the Jim Crow laws the southern Democrats passed?

So the point is that Obama should get out of the way and let the GOP run them down? You’re too good a cartoonist to play the “on the one hand, but on the other” game. Next up: A cartoon that blames the Lincoln assassination in part of Booth for shooting him and in part on Lincoln for facing the stage instead of turning his chair around.

Oh goody. It’s been estimated to fund the entire government except Obamacare by passing piddly little laws that cover a few programs here or there will take 100 working days. And the congress only works three days a week, and takes long vacations. The solution is to open the government again, which would take one single vote.
