Horrible signature. Plus he worked for Clinton. Obviously Not Qualified. Bring back Jack Snow.

Note that he actually worked as a banker, and that he has to change his signatuure before he becomes Treasury Secretary.

The deficit went DOWN under Lack Lew before, and it’s going DOWN every year under Obama right now. His budgets are much more sound than Paul Ryan’s, which called for hugely increased deficits. The deficit has always soared under Republicans. These are just the facts, folks. He seems to be an excellent choice.

I only make my first name totally “legible” from a signature perspective…my work involves in inspecting and certifying parts for nuclear submarine components, so I sign about 100 times a day. I use my own take on traditional Latin script (my majuscule K is closer to a “true” R [minus the top line] than a K [I hate loopy letters). You can tell my last initial, but after that, good luck :)

Mr. Lew doesn’t seem to me the best option.
The signature was best described to me as the white icing on a Hostess Cupcake.

    my my…someone struck a NERVE.

Now I know you guys blame the banks and the bankers, the economic trickle down/voodoo economics …. I don’t really understand all that stuff. I do know if you do not produce anything then you can’t sell it and make a profit. And if you don;t turn that profit into more stuff (more jobs, more cash flow) and continue the cycle then you’re toast anyway. Can’t hoard it, cause then there isn’t anyone to make stuff to sell so you can have a profit. …Sorry off on a tangent

Well, maybe you remember way back when the Glass-Steagall Act was repealed. It let deregulated the banks and set the stage for the coming Housing crisis. Who was it now who signed that into law? Oh yeah, Clinton. The 106th congress is my guess as to who did the deed with the bill. The senate was split 50/50 and yes the republicans held a majority in the house.

Now all that in your mind, surly you see that NOTHIN gets passed unless BOTH republicans AND democrats vote for it.

So, come on, This time period was probably the start of the bubble era and everyone has a bit of blame to accept.

The question is, can we get over the hate for each other that politics and the media have made such great strides in creating for their personal gain and FORCE our representatives to sit down and make changes.

How many times will he have to sign anyway? Since the plates are engraved, it won’t matter. I don’t care what his signature looks like as long as he can do the job!

I guess if you mean actually working on budgetary issues and finances in Congress and two administrations, then yes, he’s not qualified! SNORT!

You truly are an idiot. Budget? What budget? Has congress passed a budget no one knows about? Not since 2009 has a budget been passed. Well, the HOUSE REPUBLICANS have passed budget legislation each year and the SENATE DEMOCRATS have refused to even bring it to the floor for discussion. President OBAMA has sent budgets to the Senate and NONE of them have gotten any votes NONE from the SENATE DEMOCRATS.

And DEFICITS are NOT GOOD dumb azz. That means you are spending more than you earn. Something you no doubt have no knowledge of…earning a paycheck.

The ONLY time there was a projected budget surplus the REPUBLICANS were in charge of the purse strings.
    <br.
Deficit spending is the wrong thing to do no matter what party the president happens to be from.
