Look at the Cliff Notes.

“It’s the end of the world as we know it….
I feel fine.”
We didn’t see that 175’ asteroid until it was just 2 days away from us.
That massive solar flare last month was capable of frying power grids and other electronics had it not gone off in another direction.
Then there’s the folks who, seeing the increase of earthquakes in areas where fracking is taking place, believe we’re going to crack the crust or the earth.
Then there’s folks- Christians and Muslims – who believe it is God’s will for the world to end soon and look for nukes and other WMDs to help that along.
So many ways to die, and our lives are so brief.
Live well, be happy, respect your neighbors, and find someone to love.
Respectfully,
C.

Maybe we’ll trip over Heathcliff? Just a nod to all you Bronte fans out there!

Funny trying to tie the stupid Mayan apocalypse nonsense with the fiscal cliff. Actually the fiscal cliff isn’t that steep like some would want us to believe. Way past time to raise tax rates on the rich and greedy 1% moocher class.

Why do people keep showing the Aztec sun stone as if it were a Mayan calendar?
THEVIC IOUSDOUG MARTIG said, 5 months ago
Stop using the “AZTEC CALENDAR” to make references to the “MAYAN’S END OF TIME” fiasco! they are not relayed in any way whatsoever! Shes!

Oh, I’m sure the Mayan centred their entire universe around the American economic situation several thousand years in the future. No other countries or eras would have been important to them.

I suspect our global warming issue is the cliff we’ve denied too long.

Yes, the climate changing 4 times a year is something to deny.
edinbaltimore said, 5 months ago
And the WEATHER will keep changing 4 times a year! Climate does not equate to, but does encompass weather. Of course, you actually have to have a mind to understand the difference!

I prefer John Hogue’s interpretation of Nostradamus’ prophesies — that the World will end in 3700. So why worry now?
