Barack Obama has given permission for anyone that wishes to enter this country without the proper authority to do so to “come on in”. He has said he will not enforce the law of the land even thought the people want that law enforced.

Children, brought here by their illegal parents that have been here for a long time and have not got in any trouble.
In Bruce-world I guess that’s “anyone”…

Amazing conswervatives, they save energy by never listening to the facts, or reading them, jus go by what Fux news and repetitive moron syndrome tells them. Reagan DID grant amnesty, Obama has NOT!

Thanks, trout, for introducing truth into a conversation dominated by conservative truth-deniers.

Romney thinks that leadership consists of criticizing Obama for not overcoming the Republican filibusters.
Of course, he has no policies of his own, except to trust the etch-a-sketch.

Check out on You Tube “THE GOD MAKERS” both Part 1 and 2.
No one should vote until they have watched both of these!
I’m dead serious! You need to see THESE, IF not both , then at least the FIRST ONE.

You are quite right: the President, as the Executive, is supposed to enforce ALL the laws. But, in fact, he cannot, he doesn’t have the requisite resources to enforce EVERY SINGLE LAW. So every president prioritizes. And Obama has said he will put finding, imprisoning, and deporting illegal immigrants who were brought by their parents as small children and who have not committed any crimes as a lower priority than capturing and deporting illegal immigrants who have committed serious felonies.
And where’s your problem with that????
Of course, Obama has deported more Hispanics in three years than any other president.
Obama was hoping non-Hispanics would pick up on his record of deporting more Hispanics than any other president, and Hispanics would pick up on his promise (broken, of course) to refrain from deporting Hispanics who had broken no other laws. Sadly, Hispanics seem to be picking up on his deportations, and Know Nothings on his promises to not deport Hispanics who have broken no law other than their immigration violations.

Forget perfection: if there were enough inspectors and law enforcement officers to make us like Singapore, you would be complaining that you live in a police state.

What? You never heard of Bush’s many, many, many signing statements?
piobaire said, 12 months ago
What the president did was to decide that it would not be in the country’s best interests, let alone the interest of the people involved, to go after those who were brought here as children.
For heaven’s sake, people, think! Picture the small child brought here. What were they supposed to do? Yell, in whatever language you wish, “No, Mommy! Don’t take me across the border! It’s illegal!” What do you expect a little child to do, toddle back across the border on their own? Hold their breath until Mom and Dad give in and take them back?
Those kids grew up American, through no fault of their own, and sending them back would be an injustice. Immigration reform, yes, but please check your facts and use your hearts as well as your brains.

Bush was a Republican, so those don’t count. Obama is not a Republican, so his executive orders and signing statements do count.

The anecdotal scenario isn’t quite the norm. What the president decided to do is not to go through Congress and have it rectified, even when he had a filibuster proof majority. He didn’t feel he needed to, the Latinos were in his back pocket. So he spent his political capital on other things. Bank bailouts and stimulus packages for unions and “friends”. Marco Rubio had a serious idea that would have worked, and would have been supported on a bipartisan basis. Obama hoped to pre empt Rubio’s idea by making an executive decision. The trouble is it changes nothing. The kids remain illegal, the employers will still be fined if they are hired by anyone, they still won’t get scholarships in most places. President Obama thinks he buy Latinos for some cheap money to keep him in office longer. Picture the arrogance of a man tosses out an illusory act and then expects Latinos to kiss his feet. I am amazed some people actually buy into this stuff.
