Hello again, ‘tater. I’m more stunned on the Chinawoman having a bullet in her face for almost half a century and survived that long to raises funds to get it out.

Sometimes they leave a bullet where it is, because removing it will cause even more damage.

On the other side of the coin, I’m also impressed with the engineering, and even more importantly, the construction of that Ferris wheel, that allowed any human to move it.

48 years to remove a bullet? And I thought our waiting times were long!

Sensationalism m’ boy…. sensationalism !  I was told that it blows in Casper, Wyoming most of the time. I was there one morning and it was calm and sunny. The girl at the mall checkout assured me that I had hit a rare spell of calm.

If it had the kind of bearings that the toy solar powered windmills have.. a baby could turn it.

I went to Wellington and don’t recall the winds. Must have been a lull.

The one element I really cant stand is the wind. 16mph everyday how annoying.

Wellington, NZ, an excellent place to put wind generators.

The Mojave desert is where they put these traking mirror generators that kill thousands of birds a day because the bugs go into the light.

See any sailboats? They move on water via wind power. I know the kids there learn water safety at early ages, but don’t know how many of them will learn how to sail; probably not something required by law.
