I make it a point to separate cockroaches not only from one another but from life as they know it!

Cockroaches feel lonely when separated from other lawyers … er … cockroaches.

We’ve had one of those coal fires going on here in Pa. for a long time, the fire has almost wiped out a whole town !

As a boy we had a coal, milk and laundry chute in our house.
These days it’s getting odd to see phone jacks in a house.
    Time moves on. Things change.

Burning Mountain in Australia has been burning for an estimated 6000 years. Brennender Berg in Germany has been burning for over 300 years. Centralia PA has been burning since 1962, and was inhabited until just a year or two ago!

A natural coal fire has burned underground in China for 100 years… so, everyone use fluorescent bulbs to save our planet.

Centralia, PA, formerly 17927 until the U.S. Postal Service revoked its ZIP Code. It once had a population of about 2,700.
The Borough of Centralia (which still exists in Columbia County) now has a population of 10.
Its coal fire started in 1962 when trash was burned on top of a coal pit. Some estimates say that it has enough fuel to keep burning for another 250-1000 years.

See my comment above. Centralia is still inhabited, but only by ten souls.
