Ripley's Believe It or Not has been presenting the incredible and the unusual in illustrated form since Robert Ripley's first "Champs and Chumps" comic published on Dec. 19, 1918. Currently, B.I.O.N. is illustrated by John Graziano, who has been working as an artist and illustrator since 1983, when he received a certificate in illustration from the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts. He has designed trading card sets and a portrait series based on the 1960s cult TV show "Dark Shadows." John has also created comic strips for "Scream Queens" magazine, designed t-shirts graphics and created storyboards and concept drawings for Hollywood films. Researcher Lucas Stram has worked since 2004 as the voice behind the cartoon, reviewing potential stories, filtering through the hundreds of weekly submissions and putting together the stories for John to bring to life. New submissions are always welcome. Just click here.

Yeah, I’ve heard of hákarl before… on the Icelandic episode of Travel Channel’s “Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern.”

You would think that after the first few people to eat the shark when it was fresh, got poisoned and died, it would deter others from eating it even after fermenting.

I think we may need a new definition of “edible.”

Simpsonfan….
There are a lot of foods about which I’ve thought the same thing….
How many died figuring out which mushrooms were edible, for instance….
Or that acorns and olives could be eaten after long soaking with lye….
Cashews and coffee are only usable after roasting…
and then there’s fugu….
etc I’m sure.
Hunger prevailed, I suppose.

Not that I’ve seen a pot plant in a zillion years….

Too bad the police in our city can’t arrest the teenage boys walking about with their pants hanging down … I’ve seen some where the pants are down past the butt … why bother wearing pants?

You can see pajama wearers in public right here in the United States, too. Just go to your local Walmart!

I haven’t worn pajamas since I was about 9 yrs old. I bet less than 50% of US citizens wear pajamas, but it would be a hard study to implement.
