Ripley's Believe It or Not has been presenting the incredible and the unusual in illustrated form since Robert Ripley's first "Champs and Chumps" comic published on Dec. 19, 1918. Currently, B.I.O.N. is illustrated by John Graziano, who has been working as an artist and illustrator since 1983, when he received a certificate in illustration from the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts. He has designed trading card sets and a portrait series based on the 1960s cult TV show "Dark Shadows." John has also created comic strips for "Scream Queens" magazine, designed t-shirts graphics and created storyboards and concept drawings for Hollywood films. Researcher Lucas Stram has worked since 2004 as the voice behind the cartoon, reviewing potential stories, filtering through the hundreds of weekly submissions and putting together the stories for John to bring to life. New submissions are always welcome. Just click here.

There are also high-frequency noises that can be used, as teenagers can hear them while older adults can’t. Unfortunately, teens like loud “music” that would drown it out. I read a meme tonight that said, “Rap is like scissors. Rock beats it every time!”

They must use a lot of those sodium vapor lights over there in the UK .

They also play classical music to keep teens away.
And ABBA to keep everyone else away.

I’ve heard about the high frequency noise and about classical music being played in areas where they gather, but the pink light is a new one on me.

In the India cattle one, replace the word “but” with “because”.
If a shrimp snaps it’s claws under water and there’s nobody there to hear it, does it make a sound?
If you want teens to stop loitering in problem areas, give them more proper areas in which to hang out.

India, where cattle are sacred and where women and children are not.

Does that pink light deter hanging on the corner??
If so some US cities should try it.

You just flunked fluid physics MadCow, Water is a much better sound conductor than air. So the sound travels alot farther, something will hear it. As for that old if a tree falls in the forest and if no one hears it question, thats been giving Philosophy students migraines for years.

They won’t even eat the cows if the population is starving.

I’m a scuba diver, and yes those things are loud underwater, but not louder than a rocket!
