Tristan probably had a 1/2 day of KP or light duties.

We were out in the field for days; hot, sweaty, tired, hungry, just generally nasty. My knee hurt, I went back to the base to see the doctor. Just as I was there 2 other guys were being yelled at and berated by this 6’6" doctor, for being wimps. Oh my! Well I did have pulled ligaments so my knee was wrapped and I was sent to light duties, let me tell you I was back in the field the next day.

That was quite a ‘feat’ by Tristan; it might not be broken.

What’s so special about the Gemboks ? There are many
Elk that roam the Hanford nuculear reservation all the time!
There isn’t much there but sage brush, tumbleweeds, rattle
    snakes and jack rabbits.

Gemsbok are of South African origin. Who brought them there an when? Now in Central West Texas we have a mini African veldt. Really, you go there an you might think you are on the Seringeti plain. Why go to Africa when you can go to a preserve in America?

How could he function with to fractured feet? I broke just one bone in one foot an I could barely walk. I couldn’t work.

Yes the Roman gladiators were professionals sportsmen. But they really did kill. To be one was one of the highest most glorious things you could be in the Roman community at the time.

I wonder how many Pagans died when Rome became Christian?
