I’d like to know how someone could lay there dead in an apartment, of all places, for three years without someone noticing. Who was paying his rent, for crying out loud?

This is more common than might be imagined sadly. There are cases like this all over the world. Maybe people have stopped noticing each other and are all wrapped up in their own worlds of texting etc.

With auto payments for bills like power, rent, and cable, it’s not really all that surprising.
Perhaps the money ran out and the cable was being cut off even though the worker is called an “installer”.
I’d be surprised if they have techs called “uninstallers”

He was just waiting for the cable guy. They aren’t usually quite that late for an appointment.

It’s no wonder they’re crabs! I wouldn’t want to predate a dinosaur, let alone date them. …good luck to the Horseshoe Crab, especially since it has existed more than 200,000,000 years before the original creation of the universe 6,000 to 10,000 years ago.

Something simler to this happened to Ms Yevette Vickers who co-starred in the classic pot-boiler “Attack of the 50 Foot Woman”. Sad to die alone with no loved ones but I guess this happens more than we would like to think.

This is a case against automatic bill payements – no one will miss you until the bank account runs out!

I’ll bet he did and it took that long to get service.
