Ripley's Believe It or Not! Believe It or Not! In East Africa people once told time by watching the petals of a flower, which opened at sunrise and closed again at sunset! The first American settlers used lobsters to fertilize their gardens and fed them only to widows, orphans and servants! Submitted by Tom Higgins, San Diego, Calif. The Cleveland High School Choir of Seattle, Wash., once sang nonstop for 40 hours! (April 9-11, 1976)
