In 1887, King Chulalongkorn of Siam built a golden pagoda and a swimming pool on the Menam River, at a cost of $500,000, that was used only once by his 10-year old son Crown Prince Vajikanahit to take a bath! Believe It or Not! In the state of Oregon, it was once illegal to wipe dishes - the law stated that all dishes should be left to drip dry! In 1968, six Irishmen demolished a piano and passed all of its pieces through a nine-inch-diameter circle in 2 minutes, 26 seconds!
