I like the fact that the helicopter and the car look like actual, identifiable models and not just generic comic strip shapes.
    Kudos!

I agree, along with having a great wit Dan’s art has a lot of detail.

….really like the jeep artwork…and the perspective one of the jeep on the hilltop and the copter in the foreground

Dan’s art is always awesome, despite his occasional colorblindness episodes.

I don’t know if it’s the case here, but a lot of these strips aren’t colored by the artist. The color gets added later by someone else. Apparently, someone who goes through periods of colorblindness. Today’s strip is awsome all over!

I work with a colorist who tries really hard to make the colors look like I’d like them. This isn’t an easy strip to color as it has more art than most..so we use lots of “action colors” colors that direct the eye to important stuff, and colors that show the impact of actions. Last Sunday’s Peanuts with Snoopy and the red Baron is a good example of what I like in coloring.

You must be a lover of SUVs. I never seen a Jeep® cherokee drawn that realistic.

It helps to have a good reference “morg”..I use 3D computer models so I can turn the vehicles in all types of directions for the scenes…Thats the fun part.

That’s ONE of the things Rip loves about Breezy? Care to name a few more?

It does take great skill to auto-rotate 50,000 parts moving in close formation to a successful crash…
