   Rip’s mother is Dr Pain. She’s been in the strip quite a few times. I think that we last saw her in April 2011.

    Thanks for the name.
    
    It led me to this, which has a list of characters, and other details. It says she’s the leader of SKULL, but hides text about her relationship to Rip (click-drag over the white boxes to show text).
    
    But, looking at the archive, I found her here, and here, 2 strips near the end of November, 2012. I wonder when she’ll escape.
