    The guy who preceded Mr. Obama doesn’t count. A) he wasn’t really elected and B) the other guy believed he was Emperor of the United States and Protector of Mexico.

    George W. Bush was President of the United States (a Republic, not a Democracy, by the way), from 2001 to 2009, being elected, then reelected, so you could show a little respect despite your personal political views.
