When I had my kitty she liked to just place her head to my forehead, dont remember any head butts…just that soft fuzzy head…

One of my rescue kitties let me know that she wanted me to adopt her by head-butting the window at the Humane Society. :-)

Good thing you didn’t teach Rover to head butt like a goat, Red.

Head butts are one thing, but my cat Mosby likes to jump on my shoulders and go for a ride…purring like crazy all the while!

We had a cat who liked to back up to you and jab you with the heel joint of his hind leg.

One of our cats did that by licking my husband’s cheek. He couldn’t resist her, so we adopted her and her shy sister.

At one time the Pacific Science Center in Seattle had a miniature goat that they let head-butt kids. Kind of fun, actually.

One of our three cats is a “head-butter” too.

My female cat Cupcake is always head-butting myself and my family in the legs. And it hurts when she head-butts you because she comes running when doing that.

Cats “head-butt” all the time. The technical term is “scent marking”. My Hoover head-butts everything: me, everything on my desk, everything in the kitchen; he particularly likes to head-butt things that end up on the floor. But, he’s still my best bud.
