Back in Red’s day, it was considered normal for astronauts to go to the moon, and they thought that by today, Americans would be able to travel to the moon as easily (well, before 9/11 security upgrades) as we travel by air. Unfortunately, we haven’t been to the moon in over 40 years, and only 12 American men have ever set foot on the moon.
And with the current administration having killed off most of the manned space program, it’ll be only robots that boldly go where we’ve never gone before.
