   Bright and sunny is only over rated when it includes 90 degree temps in March all the way through November. Bright and sunny would definitely be preferable to pea soup fog on I-4 any day!

   You guys can have Seattle.

   The Army insisted that I take my RVN jungle training at nearby Fort Lewis in January. There was snow on the ground and ice everywhere.

   The instructor said dont worry about it, when you get to Vietnam you’ll forget every thing you learned here. He was right.

   They are both beautiful cities…the weather is better in Portland but Seattle has a little more to offer. BTW, the weather in Seattle is not very good.
