Where do they live? I didn’t know anywhere had limits – though for the sake of the animals, I think it might be a good idea.

Duncan votes “No”. He doesn’t want to share the hugs.

Many areas have limits. Where I live, it’s 2, and that includes dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets. At one time I had 3 cats, and I lived in fear of animal control. My cats were strictly indoors, but there’ve been some horror tales about animals being confiscated and euthanized for no good reason other than the owner being over the limit.

Sarasota. Don’t know what the ordinances are there, but many communities have rules about what kind and how many animals can live on someone’s plot.
