All of the pills are actually marketed as “nutritional supplements”, so there’s no legal requirement to inform anyone of side effects or drug interactions. You know, the products that always have the fine print “This statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.” Despite the clear claims to treat an illness.

Mark Rogers, the author and illustrator of the Samurai Cat books, died on February 2nd.A tribute?
There’s a fairly widespread internet meme gif using that same picture and captioned with “I’m not saying it’s aliens…but it’s aliens.”That seems to be his general attitude.Stonehenge? Aliens.Pyramids? Aliens.Milk went bad before the expiration date? Aliens.

I’m expressing my opinion of this comic.I’m noting that comics are a visual medium.I’m suggesting that “showing” is a more effective storytelling method than “telling”.Tongue-in-cheek,obviously, but the amount of text devoted to describing the action in the first two panels seems a bit excessive.

The Ghost of Christmas Past was described as androgynous in the novel, resulting in the character being portrayed by both men and women in various film adaptations, starting with Ann Rutherford in 1938.The Ghost of Christmas Present was a woman in the Bill Murray movie “Scrooged”.

They don’t have to demand it because most insurance already covers Viagra.Unlike birth control pills, which provide numerous medical benefits for women beyond preventing pregnancy, Viagra serves one purpose: helping old men have sex.Which one is more frivolous?
You never hear these same groups complaining about insurance covering Viagra.

The Republican obsession with Obamacare suggests that they believe that the ACA is going to work out in the long run. If they genuinely, confidently felt that it was going to fail, the smart thing to do would to put up a nominal, token effort against it, but let it fail on its own merits, letting them surf into power on its broken body. The only good reason for them to put themselves on the chopping block like they have been is if they expect their arguments against it to be proven wrong, at least in the eyes of the majority of swing voters.
“They did not change the rules , they used them in away unprecedented. ".Clause 4 of Rule XXII of the House of Representatives states that "“when the stage of disagreement has been reached on a bill or resolution with House or Senate amendments, a motion to dispose of any amendments shall be privileged.”, meaning that if the Senate rejects a motion to go to conference to work out differences between the House and Senate on legislation – as Senate Democrats did – any House Member may be able move to concur with the Senate amendment, meaning they could bring the Senate legislation to the floor of the House for a vote.On October 1st, Republicans changed that rule so that only one person had that authority: Eric Cantor or his designee.
Similar to the way that the Republicans in the House changed the rules at the last minute to guarantee the shutdown. The difference is that one change allows the government to do its job while the other change was specifically intended to bring it to a screeching halt.
