I’ve been checking back every few weeks to see if they ever got rid of the dumb new format. Perhaps reverted back to the previous. I see not. So I’m going to delete this bookmark now.

People are scared of Ebola because it is such a nasty, painful, bloody way to die. Africanized bees are a problem, especially because they interbreed with European honeybees. And as an Ecologist in south Florida, any bee hive I run across has about a 30% chance of being an Africanized nest of bees. Bees that will chase you for up to a mile and literally hover over water waiting for you to surface. Getting lit up by a yellow jacket nest is bad enough. I can only imagine what it must be like to be stung by hundreds of bees over and over and over until you die.

Kind, nothing. Put it back to the way it was or else I’ll find something better to do with my time than try to squint while reading the post.

I concur with the format change. Was this actually intentional? Was someone at the office desperately trying to think of something to do to justify their job…and this is what they came up with?

Any of those would be preferable, since they wouldn’t be beholden to special interests, which are really running this country.

We haven’t been seeing the full force because for one thing the oceans have been absorbing that extra heat. And no, we have not had constant temps at all the last 15 years. Global temps have been rising EVEN though solar activity from the sun has decreased. But we are already experiencing the effects of global warming. We’re only just now starting to see the effects. The worse ones will be coming soon enough. http://climate.nasa.gov/effects/
