What are you griping about? Mothers deserve one day a year (they deserve more in my opinion) in their honor. They have the hardest and, at times most thankless, job in the world. That’s when a good responsible dad is in the picture, as he becomes her oldest child. It’s 1,000,000 times harder when he isn’t. I don’t know if you have children to honor you tomorrow, but even if you don’t I know you have a mother. If she is still with us, call her or pay her a visit. If she has passed on, my condolences, but you can still visit her grave and tell her that the love you have for still lives on, the things she taught you will never be forgotten, and that she lives on through you.
Mother’s Day is not about spending money on Mom. it’s about spending time with her and showing her how much you love her and appreciate everything she does and has done for you.

If you are referring to Maggie’s son (and Sluggo’s cousin) his name is Chauncey as seen here: http://www.gocomics.com/nancy/2013/04/22 and here: http://www.gocomics.com/nancy/2013/04/20 not Courtney.
