    3. It’s fresh and interesting (I realize these are re-runs, but it’s my first seeing them). The humor is nicely cynical with a dash of sincerity, and the artwork is good. Facial expressions can be kind of static, though (this strip is a good example).

    Out of the past ten presidents, only two have received more than half the popular vote more than once: Reagan and Obama. So he’s got more of a mandate than Bush ever had.

    America needs Karaoke Boxes, like Japan has. It’s so much easier to sing when it’s just you and your friends taking turns while getting drunk, with no strangers around.

    Tig, if W had managed to do it, then that would have actually merited a “Mission Accomplished!” banner. Sending troops into Afghanistan was something I supported because the goal was legitimate and it had the backing and cooperation of the rest of the world.
