Fortunately, cricket is game played by gentlemen. In all the years I’ve played it, from a young boy, I’ve never heard one word of abuse. Why is it so necessary in baseball?

I don’t know which Italian dictionary you use but but mine says scoiattolo. I think you may have accidentally picked up a French dictionary.

He maybe right Stephanie but there was still no need for such rude and abusive condemnation. Nevertheless, we still love you.

True story: Driving a 44tonner in Eastend of London, I’d telephone ahead to the Beigel Shop in Brick Lane (those that know it, it’s a very narrow, one-way-street). As I reached the traffic-lights at the top, one of the girls would be waiting with my order. Traffic behind wouldn’t be able to see the transaction, assuming I was being held-up at the lights. I miss my hot salt-beef beigels now.

Oh, I understood Parker and Hart’s cartoon, it was the comment on the cartoon, I didn’t understand. I thought there must have been a hidden meaning behind it. I think I was expecting too much though.
But thanks for the friendly greeting, unusual in this forum.
