    @echo Sam there is no guarantee that the private schools are better. In fact many are worse and require families to pay a lot of extra money to support children with special needs. Public schools are the basis for democracy—not the profit machines they are trying to make with charters or vouchers.

    We sent my son to one for 3 years and he went from a 92nd percentile in math to the 38th. You might say that we could have just gone to a different school, but it is not an easy thing to uproot your child.
