    @marantz
    I agree with others. Been following this strip for years. It is realistic and relevant: diversity, single parent, upbeat grandmother- I relate well with her- retired teacher/moderate professor.Read some other strip or get over it!

    okay, now how about adding the white victims who were killed by people of color, mostly black!
    They count too!!!!

    Caldonia,
    I disagree with you. Quill and Luann do have a connection and that is that both are not plastic. Just like her brother and Tony. Aaron was teen age crush, first infatuation. I had plenty myself. Now, I see a lot of my older school mates- widowers and divorced with trophy wives. They are lost souls when there are reunions.

    my goodness, ReallyBad2,
    your scenarios may be realistic- to a point, but why focus on the bad? If we all stayed Status Quo, and never took a risk, we would still be living in caves.

    Nick,
    this is another example of race baiting. do something about the Black and Hispanic home invasions where so many white people are shot, murdered, and robbed.

    Actually, I would agree that there could be other clothing choices. I realize teens have trends, but they are role models, or should be. not like Brown’s father with his pants almost to his knees and his underwear showing.

    @Rich, This is not boring. I had the same questions years ago when I discovered my mom, a widow, was seeing someone. When one is just out of high school, there are enough challenges without messing up the one constant in one’s life- at that moment. love the expressions on Quill.
