    Not quite. 12/25 is the 1st Day of Christmas; the last day, Twelfthnight, is 1/5. 1/6 is the Epiphany, which begins a new season. Epiphany lasts till Ash Wednesday, the 1st day of Lent, which ends at Easter Vigil, or the Saturday of Holy Week between Good Friday and Easter. Easter lasts 50 days, until Pentecost, which lasts until the beginning of the new church year at the 1st day of Advent, usually 12/1.

    Of course, these comments display the use of conservative as a slur: pot, meet kettle. Modern liberalism isn’t about liberty, freedom, and an open mind. it’s about limitations, constraint, and groupthink.

    And I don’t think it’s any of your business whether anyone has any kind of rifle or not. So-called gun conrtrol is imperialism—internal imperialism, but imperialism nonetheless. Make a deal with ya: I’ll stay out of your bedroom if you stay out of my gun safe.

    As a rule, we attend more commemorative ceremonies than reenactments on memorial Day weekend.
